PREFACE
The Code of Conduct outlines the key behavioral expectations for all ETS personnel. All members of the Engineering & Technical Services are expected to uphold a high standard of conduct and professionalism, both in and out of uniform. Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the department’s infraction system.
ETS Command is responsible for issuing and logging all infractions and punishments.
DEPARTMENT POLICY
All ETS personnel must follow the PRI Discord server rules within the ETS server at all times;
All ETS personnel must follow the road laws and regulations set forth by CoE Facility Policies, Chapter 5 > Road Laws & Penalties.;
ETS personnel may have their driving permissions revoked if command deem it necessary.
All ETS personnel are required to use all formats specified in any channel;
All ETS personnel are expected to follow the ETS Chain of Command;
ETS personnel must follow orders from the O5 Council, direct supervisors, enforcement bodies, and combatives when necessary;
ETS personnel may not forge or submit plagiarized, falsified, or AI-generated documents, reports, requirements, or other materials;
ETS personnel may not deviate from procedures or processes outlined;
Any other violations deemed by Central Command may warrant punishment.
Technicians are to maintain a respectful tone with all personnel;
Any cases of antagonization, harassment, immaturity or trolling will not be tolerated
Personnel must act in a safe manner, avoiding reckless actions that may cause harm to themselves, others, or site infrastructure;
Personnel represent ETS when on duty. Any behavior, comments, or interactions conducted under the department title are expected to reflect positively on the team;
Personnel must avoid confrontation or unnecessary engagement in disputes;
Logging in to accumulate team time without meaningful activity (AFK farming), or during site inactivity is not permitted;
Any attempt to manipulate or loophole systems, policies, or roles for personal gain or to avoid punishment is treated as a severe infraction;
All ETS personnel must act in a respectful manner when speaking towards SCPs. This is enforced at a higher level if one wields an Anomalous Support Certification.
All ETS personnel must use tools appropriate to their rank and completed trainings/certifications. Attempting to, or succeeding in, accessing restricted utilities is prohibited;
Using tools (including commands) for any purpose outside of their intended function (e.g., trolling, harming players, etc.) is forbidden;
Misuse of tools on oneself for effect or entertainment is considered unprofessional and may be subject to review
Do not withhold, hide, or unnecessarily restrict other personnel from using tools or access points essential for their duties;
ETS personnel must wear the proper uniform and accessories designated to their specific rank;
Hard hats are optional; however, if worn, they must reflect the correct color for that rank
Supporters may wear custom hard hats, provided they do not mimic ETS rank colors and are stylistically appropriate for the 1980s time period
Any other regulations set forth by CoE Facility Policies, Chapter 1 > Dress Code
Distributing tools or access to unauthorized personnel or hostile forces is forbidden;
All ETS personnel are forbidden from using item SCPs unless allowed by their Security Class.
Pursuant to CoE Facilities Policies, Chapter 2: Locations, all ETS personnel must not enter restricted or unauthorized areas without explicit permission and escorts.
Access into a restricted area for ETS operational purposes must follow the regulations outlined below:
Rule of thumb: Spawn areas require escort by a representative member of that specific department. Being affiliated with a department you have access with still requires an escort.
Hamilton Office Complex
Medical Wing
Medical lobby freely accessible.
Spawn area, offices, and check-up areas requires an MD escort.
ETS Personnel may enter the inner Medical Wing to refill supplies, though must leave immediately after.
Scientific Wing
Scientific lobby freely accessible.
Spawn area, laboratory, classroom, ScD vendor requires an ScD escort.
Clean Rooms
Restricted to all ETS members.
Containment Specialization Certified ETS members may enter if they are retrieving a SCP box. This duty is currently paused.
Tram Station
Accessible to everyone.
Access to breakers require Containment Specialization Certification.
HOC Lobby
Accessible to everyone.
HOC Basement
Accessible to everyone.
Access to breakers require Containment Specialization Certification.
Security Wing
Spawn area and garage requires an SD escort.
Access to breakers require Containment Specialization Certification.
JFK Administrative Complex
Military Police Wing
Restricted to all ETS personnel
Courtroom
Accessible to everyone.
Administrative Wing
Assembly Floor - Accessible to everyone
Ethics Wing - Accessible to everyone
External Affairs Wing - First accessible room permitted, beyond rooms require DEA escort.
Internal Security Wing - First accessible room permitted, beyond rooms require AAC/D1 escort.
Crisis Command Center
Accessible to everyone if opened during normal protocol.
Outer CDCZ
CDCZ Hallways & Viewing Area
Accessible to everyone
Infirmary
Requires an MD escort.
ETS Personnel may enter the infirmary to refill supplies, though must leave immediately after.
Inner CDCZ
Requires a combative escort.
Requires an Eta-9 escort.
Delta 1 may escort personnel above Security Class-3.
ETS Personnel may not enter the Anomaly Containment Hub unless specifically requested, conducting an inspection, spectating a test or completing maintenance tasks.
INFRACTIONS
To maintain professionalism, accountability, and operational integrity, the Engineering & Technical Services uses a structured infraction system to address violations of departmental policy.
Infractions are categorized by severity in 3 categories, with appropriate disciplinary actions applied based on context, history, and impact.
Verbal Warning
Sent through in-game or Discord messages, a verbal warning serves as a reminder to correct behavior before further escalation results.
Written Warning
A formal message issued by a member of Engineering Command detailing the violation and expectations moving forward.
Demotion
The loss of one or more ranks within the department due to misconduct, poor performance, or a failure to meet expectations. This action reflects a loss of trust or readiness for the former position.
Suspension
Temporarily removes a member from their position and/or department for a set period of time. Suspensions are used for serious or repeated violations, allowing time for investigation or reflection.
Retraining
Issued when a member demonstrates a clear misunderstanding or disregard for department policy. Required to retake both the Apprentice Orientation any any other related trainings (i.e. Dam OT)
Mandated retraining must be completed within two weeks from issue date. Failure to complete will result in demotion/exile.
Rank Lock
Temporary or permanent restriction from holding a command position, regardless of eligibility or met requirements.
Exile
Removal from the Engineering & Technical Services due to severe or repeated misconduct. The offender must be reapproved and reapply, potentially after a set period of time, and start at the entry-level rank.
Blacklist
Permanent or temporary restriction from rejoining the department.
APPEALS
Any Engineering & Technical Services personnel may contact a member of High Command (Lead Engineer) or above to appeal their punishment if they believe it was incorrect, unwarranted, or of inappropriate severity level.
