PREFACE
The Engineering & Technical Services oversees the management of essential site resources through the ETS primary warehouse. From turbine components, technical fluids, medical supplies, sodas and snacks, these resources must be carefully tracked, maintained, and replenished.
This section provides an overview of how ETS monitors inventory, manages restocking procedures, and supports facility operations.
BUDGET AND FUNDING
The ETS Warehouse operates on a department budget generated directly by excess power production. When the dam produces more power than the site and power order consumes, those surpluses convert into budget funds that ETS can use to maintain logistics operations.
This budget is used to order essential supplies, including turbine components, medical kits, technical fluids, and consumables such as snacks and sodas. Maintaining efficient operations and limiting unnecessary waste directly benefits the department’s available funds.
A live display inside the warehouse's loading bay tracks the current ETS budget. The starting budget is $5,000.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & TRACKING
Supply orders are placed via the ETS OS computers using the engineering department's budget. Each order delivers a maximum of 8 items due to caacity limits. Once an order is placed, delivery occurs within 7 to 14 minutes.
When the shipment arrives, the truck’s cargo door opens at the loading dock, revealing eight pallets of ordered items. ETS has a 15-minute window to unload all cargo using pallet movers spawned randomly around the loading bay before a new shipment can be sent to that dock. Unloading the items places them on the warehouse shelves, where they can be managed and viewed.
To avoid overstocking on a single item, the ETS warehouse shelf section has been divided into different sections, each housing a different supply type.
Shelves 1-2 - Ammo Crates
Shelves 3-4 - Fire Extinguishers
Shelves 5-6 - Medical Supplies
Shelf 7 - Gas Mask Filters & Vending Machine Parts
Shelf 8 - Overflow
Shelf 9 - Oil Bulks
[TURBINE HALL] Shelves 10-11 - Oil Bulks
The Logistics Clipboard is the central tool for interacting with shipments:
When equipped, it highlights all refillable items across the site based on stock levels.
Clicking a pallet reveals information about its contents and highlights all props that the crate can restock.
As time progresses, refillable props across the site change color automatically, indicating their current stock status.
RESTOCKING
After supplies are unloaded and placed on warehouse shelves, restocking operations begin. Using the Logistics Clipboard, authorized personnel select pallets in the warehouse, which brings up detailed information about the crate and highlights all corresponding restockable locations across the site.
Players will then transfer portions of the supply onto a smaller pallet securely positioned in the back of their maintenance truck. These trucks are driven across the site to manually restock stations and machines, guided by the highlighted indicators. At each location, open the logistics clipboard, click the pallet, and then the empty cabinet to restock it.
SUPPLIES ORDERING SYSTEM
The ETS Warehouse maintains a catalog of supplies and turbine components available for order. Each item has an associated restock cost, which is deducted from the department budget outlined in the section above. These prices are used both for planning and for tracking logistics expenditures.
Shipment Service
Shipment Service is restricted to personnel ranked Service Technician or higher and refers to everyday consumables and site essentials.
Medical Supplies (medical_supplies) - $40
Fire Extinguishers (fire_extinguishers) - $25
Ammo (ammo_crates) - $100
Gas Mask Filters (gas_mask_filters) - $35
Vending Machine Products (machine_products) - $30
Oil Bulks (turbine_oil_ibc) - Free

ORDERING PROCESS
All orders are submitted through the Supply OS system on the computers surrounding the Technical Sector's warehouse. The process is as follows:
Open shipmentservice or turbineservice using input open [___service]
Create a new request with the input create [reason];
Add the desired items from the catalog with the input add [item];
Submit the request with send.
Deliveries arrive in storage containers outside the warehouse loading dock. ETS personnel must unload the items onto the warehouse shelves before restocking can begin.
